Here you'll find tips on how to get the most from your bike.

Bar/Stem Set-up
When choosing and setting up your bar/stem combo, you need to know what type of riding you will be doing. Freeride or downhill? You will want a shorter stem and nice wide riser bars. This will help you loft the bike better than a long stem/short bar combo. XC? Longer stem/shorter bars. This will give you a more stretched out cockpit and better control. Get bars with a lower rise-about 1-1.5" rise. Trailbiking? You will want to find a medium length stem with longer, higher rise bars. The not long, yet not short stem will give you a more comfortable position than the xc setup would, and will also give you the loft and control the freeride/downhill set-up does. For bars, get a set of riser bars with at least a 1.5" rise, but a max of 2.5"(I would only recommend 2.5" to someone who is taller than most. 2" is usually a good height)

Brake Lever/Shifter Lever angle
This is really personal preference. Just adjust them to how you like them. As long as its good for you, thats what matters.
